Corgis are intelligent, alert, and determined. While they are highly affectionate with their families, their herding instinct can sometimes lead to 'nipping' at heels if not properly trained. Adult Corgis typically need about 1-1.5 cups of high-quality dry food daily, divided into two meals. Obesity is a significant risk for this breed, as excess weight puts strain on their long backs. Monitoring weight and limiting calorie intake is essential.
