How we write
Pawped's breed guides, week-by-week care plans, cost calculator, and interactive tools are AI-drafted using widely-published breed-registry data (AKC, TICA, FCI, CFA) and general veterinary reference material as source material. Every article is reviewed by a human editor before publication. We choose this workflow because it lets us cover 80+ breeds in five languages at a consistency and depth we couldn't reach otherwise; we're honest about it because you deserve to know how what you're reading was produced.
What we don't publish
- No diagnostic advice. If something in your pet's body concerns you, please call a licensed veterinarian.
- No dosing guidance. Medication and supplement decisions belong with your vet.
- No sponsored breed placements. Nothing on this site is paid-for coverage of a specific breeder or brand.
Medical / veterinary review
We are actively recruiting a licensed veterinarian (DVM) or registered veterinary technician (RVT) to review health-adjacent content — puppy and kitten care plans, the vet-checker triage tool, and any future health guidance. Until that role is filled, health-adjacent pages default to a "when to call the vet" framing and link to licensed telehealth (Pawp, Vetster) rather than making a call ourselves.

If you spot something that's wrong, please email hello@pawped.com. We reply to correction requests within a week and log all substantive fixes.
